Thinking, that by Friday afternoon, the public would probably be missing the fun of campaigns and voting, we headed out to the Meadows to conduct our own poll. We asked "Is mental health a difficult topic for everyday conversation?". The votes have now been counted and we can announce the results.
Yes: 76
No: 40
Don't know/Sometimes/Maybe: 5
What this means: The results are encouraging. There were very few people who who did not want to talk to us. However the results show that many still think it's a difficult topic, and so we still have work to do. Many interesting conversations took place during our poll. It seems to be a subject that people have a lot to say about.
